is good for young teenagers to have some type of experience make new friends I just want to learn new things how often is your day self a little bit so well for the multiple variety of programs most of them designed to get students some experience in some field which they can either take for their Hobbies or crossword pursue in a career and future Club better adding benefits to the school that we'll see for years to come students get to generate some funding and their own personal Pockets will also benefit their Community while being those leaders is to get students back into the field will being around each other and being in a school building go number two is to get them to do something enjoyable and then go number three is to get them to interact with each other because it can be difficult and not having been around a lot of other kids more than adults for over a year and some cases minutes program we go over everything from how to Brand yourself as a beauty ambassador to have to make beauty products how to do here until I feel like it's a good way as specially in high school to get you guys interested in doing learning about well how to figure out what type of chemicals or treatment that they need to use playing we learned how to make sugar scrub do your lip scrub body scrub and right now we're doing great so we're learning how to do different types of braids with hair extensions without hair extensions and we're just developing our skills students are mural arts program the students being paid to learn Foundation of our goal for this year we have the students collaborate with each other and come up with a concept of how they can document their own history I really believe that we are laying a mural Arts is about you know telling a story I did the telephone set the background and a painted at the bottom but we came up with was creating a neighborhood where we had the power fist that showed empowerment and holding the two flags that drinking sides in the more traditional one and then the more one that has been adopted recently with the African colors learning different types of cameras you know how to use them I've been in that type of stuff in a minute I just ain't never had nobody learn from him no we wanted fired up from the tomato plant you close enough to that this program is important because it gives the Youth of Chicago no opportunities job opportunities and also programs they also get to do that while in their school Community I'm just glad that I am able to introduce trade so I really hope that I opened up a few doors here so everybody could just find what they are good at and developing the skills the process here is definitely helping the students grow in the courtyard if you really feel like we're back to Hirsch I'm excited and ready to have a great school year
