Principal's Message

Greetings Husky Community,
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2025-26 school year at Emil G. Hirsch Metropolitan High School. As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2026, we are honored to carry forward a legacy of excellence while preparing our students for a bright and dynamic future.
This school year, our instructional focus is on Student Discourse—helping students strengthen their voices, think critically, and engage in meaningful academic conversations. By developing metacognitive skills, our students will not only master subject matter but also learn how to reflect, reason, and take ownership of their learning.
We are also proud to announce the addition of an AP course and new Dual Credit opportunities, further expanding pathways for students to earn college credit and experience rigorous learning that prepares them for success beyond high school.
Equally important, Hirsch remains committed to cultivating a safe, supportive, and respectful environment where every student feels valued and empowered to thrive. Together with our dedicated staff, we are creating a culture that balances academic excellence with care for the whole child.
This work cannot be done alone. Our success is built on strong communication and partnership—with our families, community, and external partners. We look forward to deepening these connections so that every Hirsch student has the support they need to reach their full potential.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s education. With your partnership, we know that this will be a year of growth, achievement, and celebration as we continue building toward Hirsch’s Centennial milestone.
Let's Go Huskies!!!
Sincerely,
Ms. Tiffany Gore, Principal
